Our current Alateen sponsor in the Medford area is ready to rotate his position. He is willing to stay on and help the new sponsor/sponsors get started, and he is willing to be a back up sponsor.

Who can be a sponsor? You may have heard that there are some new requirements in place. If you are an active Al-Anon member, regularly attend a meeting, are at least 21 years old, have been an Al-Anon member for at least 2 years (at least 6 months in this district), have no felonies, then please let me know you are interested and we can talk about the details. Our district will pay for the background checks and fingerprinting. AA members who ALSO regularly attend Al-Anon are welcome to apply for this position.

Currently attendance at the Thursday evening Alateen meeting has been very low and we are looking at options: different time, different place, different day, having 2 sponsors etc.

NOW IS THE TIME! We need you to make sure that the hand of Alateen will always be there.
