I want to thank each and every one of you for the financial contributions you, your groups have faithfully sent to our District. These contributions allow us to continue our local 24 hour answering service, to print our own meeting lists, to send Public Outreach materials on a regular basis to professionals in both counties, and more. Thanks to your donations the “hand of Al-Anon” is alive and well to help families of alcoholics.
This has been a hard year for many people and groups financially. As your group ends the year you may be blessed with some extra monies.
From the Al-Anon Service Manual page 23 “ We have no dues or fees, but we do pass the basket to cover group expenses, including purchase of literature, support of our trusted servants and Al-Anon service arms. Our Seventh Tradition says we are self-supporting through our own voluntary contributions”.
Please consider passing on any extra money to your service arms, your District, Oregon Area and WSO.
Thanks to each and every one of you who: carried the key to open the door of the meeting, carried the literature, collected money and served as treasurer, served as Group Rep or held another position at the District/Area, volunteered to be an Alateen sponsor, chaired meetings, were the group secretary, stayed after to share or listen to the new comer, or came to a meeting when you didn’t feel like it because “something” urged you to go. YOUR SERVICE IS APPRECIATED!
